Who We Are
At Courageous Connections, our mission is to support children from birth to 12 and their families with speech, language, and feeding services. We provide evidence-based services to enhance their development with a play-based therapy model.

We specialize in early intervention, expressive and receptive language disorders, late talkers, picky eaters, multimodality communication, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Augmentative/Alternative Communication.

Meet the Owner
Hello! I am Abbigail, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Courageous Connections Therapy Services located in the greater Central Michigan area. I am passionate about supporting and educating children and their families to nurture natural growth and development of language skills to successfully communicate within their natural environment. My goal is to provide personalized, child-focused, neurodiversity affirming therapy services in conjunction with family-centered education and resources to benefit the whole child.

3. Speech Therapy Treatment Begins!
At Courageous Connections, we emphasize treating the whole child to support the best outcomes utilizing a family-centered approach to foster natural language development. Therapy begins with a free consultation to determine your child’s strengths and challenges, followed by a comprehensive, informative evaluation. Together, we collaborate with families to develop an individualized treatment plan that provides an opportunity for your child to have success.
Families will be given information on strategies and ideas to use at home and within the community to increase and enhance the skills being addressed within treatment sessions.
